The House of Delegates Student Mentorship Committee annually invites students to attend the AARC House of Delegates summer and fall meetings. Those interested are encouraged to apply using this form during each application period.

Pro Tip: The online application requires you to include a contact from your Respiratory Care Program, preferably a Program Director or Director of Clinical Education. Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your submission. Be sure to check your inbox!

What is the function of the House of Delegates?

The AARC brings together some of the most creative and motivated professionals in the respiratory care profession. Twice a year, the AARC HOD meets to work toward accomplishing its stated mission to "Serve as a representative body of the general membership and the representative body of the affiliate societies" and to "Participate in the establishment of the goals and objectives for the Association and participate in the governance of the Association."

In addition, the mission of the House of Delegates, consistent with the AARC’s mission and purpose, is to guide and influence the Association's activities by providing communication from and among Chartered Affiliates to the Executive Office and the Board of Directors to determine and achieve the Association's strategic goals and objectives.
